Part 1. Theory and Hazard Perception Test.
Part 2. Practical Driving Test.
At Carter's Driving School we offer training for those who wish to become an instructor themselves.
There are three exams to pass so we break the training down into three distinct stages allowing you to spread the cost over the entire period.
We will take you through one step at a time until you are a fully qualified Approved Driving Instructor. All training is done on a strictly one-to-one basis and all courses are available on a PAY AS YOU GO basis.
Part 1. Theory and Hazard Perception Test.
The First part consists of a theory test and a hazard perception test. The theory test is a computerised multiple choice test made up of 100 questions. The pass mark is 85%. The pass mark for the hazard perception test is 57 out of a possible 75. We will supply you with all the necessary books and starter pack to start your new career.Part 2. Practical Driving Test.
The second part consists of a one-hour test in which the candidate must display a much higher standard of driving skill than the average motorist. It includes motorway or dual carriageway driving, town and country driving and all of the set manoeuvres. All training is done on a strictly one-to-one basis. You will receive 15 hours of expert tuition to give you the best chance of success.Part 3. Teaching Ability.
This third section assesses the candidate's ability to explain every detail of driving to their student. This must be done in a kind and patient way so that the pupil is made to feel at ease. Before this exam can be taken the candidate will received at least 40 hours of teaching ability tuition. All of the training is done on a strictly one-to-one basis. Colour files and PST briefing can be supplied for this part of your exam. The total cost of this course is £1945.00 (This does not include the fees charged by the DSA of approx. £100.00 for each test).
Last attempt at your ADI Part Three?
You've probably arrived at this page because you are desperate, frustrated, and totally disillusioned with your training. Down to your last attempt at Part 3. Well you are not alone. Thousands of potential driving instructors are being fleeced of thousands of pounds by the so called big training companies who demand massive up front payments and then don't live up to expectations. CALL US NOW ON 01493 331199 BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE. WE REALLY CAN HELP YOU TO GET THAT GREEN BADGE.
In our experience Most ADI Part 3 Three failures are mainly due to poor quality driving instructor training...How many of you have been with companies who use the buddy system. This is were one trainee instructor teaches another trainee instructor (the blind leading the blind comes to mind). Were you ever told about this before you signed up? I doubt it.
Our tutors are passionate about ADI Part Three training and they have a pass rate which is absolutely second to none. Over the years, we have worked very closely with the DSA and the examiners in our area and we know exactly what they are looking for and that is what we give them.
Our driving instructor rescue course is specifically designed for those who have recently failed one or two attempts at the Approved Driving Instructor Part 3 Test.
The course is very intensive in both structure and content and is designed to identify and remedy any weak areas or misconceptions regarding the ADI Part 3 test.
